March is one pot cooking month here at FriFran. Following on from the wonderful Mexican Black Bean Casserole I had a hankering for Butter Bean Stew and Dumplings. So here you are!
Dumplings are not something you would eat everyday but are such an evocative comfort food. Wonderful for cold winter suppers when you have some hard work to do. Dumplings are superb with any sauce rich stew or casserole and wonderful with soups. You can add herbs or spices to dumplings depending on what you are cooking.
