Autumn is in full swing and fabulous! But, it is getting cold in London (not bone-aching cold just yet, but it is getting colder, rainier…). I am still going a bit preserving crazy and loving the last of the summer produce as we move in to wonderful autumn delights!
Cobnuts (AKA wet hazelnuts) are just brilliant at the moment. Fresh, light, moist and delicious. Predominantly available in the south east of England. I had never even heard of them until I moved to London. I just eat them fresh from the shell. Some things you really don’t need to mess with. I’m also loving eating fresh almonds from the tree outside our house.

This week’s recipes are two of my favourites… Rich, autumnal, colourful, decadent and delicious.
Warm, autumn salads are perfect at this time of year. The rich colours in Pumpkin Salad with Crispy Sage are a delight. A super easy, super nutritious and moreish salad. Great as a weekend treat.
I also shared one of my favourite desserts ever… Blackberry and Almond Chocolate Mousse is light, smooth, rich and easy!!! This recipe makes six LARGE portions!!! Leaves changing colour and falling from the trees are the perfect backdrop to spoons full of blackberries, almonds and chocolate.
