We had a glut of almonds this autumn from the tree outside our house and pears from a friends house. So after a request to make a gluten free, vegan Pear Frangipane Tart this is the outcome.
The Pear Frangipane Tart is a delicious slightly bitter-almondy, pear-sweet and substantial tart. Good on its own and great with non-dairy cream. You really don’t need gluten or eggs for indulgent, moreish spoonfuls of delight.
