Gluten-free, vegan Turmeric, Carrot and Orange Smoothie will not smooth away the hard living, late nights and over-excitement of Christmas but it will taste great and give you a bit of a kick in your step. It’s super tangy and will wake you up! I love this for breakfast or after a long walk. An amazing colour, a blast of zing (whatever that is!) and fabulous taste. Wonderful stuff!
I adore carrots and try to use them raw in as much food as I can. I have said before I am not a fan of cooked carrots (too sweet, too yuck – except sometimes!) but raw carrots I adore and could eat them all day. Finding ways to use carrots in breakfast was a bit of a breakthrough moment for me. Carrots for breakfast? Yes! Carrots for breakfast. They are amazing in this!

Top Tips – Turmeric, Carrot and Orange Smoothie
I like this with quite a thick texture – eat it with a spoon type thick. If you like it a little thinner add 100 millilitres more orange juice or water to get the texture you like.
